  1. Glad to hear. If only everyone would realize this.
    The first month all I did was get rid of junk and high-fat, high-calorie items. I started eating lean meat, fish, and lots of vegetables. I didn't limit portions at all. I didn't count calories, or anything. I felt totally satisfied and didn't feel like I was on a 'diet' at all. I lost 10 pounds.
    I do watch how much I am eating, but I'm just doing exactly the same, although I have added exercise. I'm still losing about 10 pounds each month.
    I think one of the secrets is I'm not on a 'diet'. I'm just eating healthier and exercising. Weight loss is just a bonus.

  2. That's the best way to do it I try not to think of myself as being on a diet, either. I never tell people "I'm dieting"...I just try to cut out the crap and eat the right portions of the right foods, and stay active. It helps the mentality of it. I don't feel restricted because, after all, this was my choice--nobody MADE me.
