Too many people spend way too much time focusing on the dynamics between those two. Seriously.
Thanks for your input. i don't read their crap. it is disgusting.
Quit stirrin' the pot. Thanks! =)
hahahaha, too bad I missed that Personally, I think it's funny and if both of them have any sense of humor at all then they're probably sitting at their computers snickering over the snide comments they make to each other while the rest of this forum gets all riled up. I know I would be.
Seriously, they are grown men. ( I think) And I don't take sides.
I think it's pretty easy to say that it's really inappropriate to call someone "fat" in a forum like this. But whatever.
The way I see it. No one was in the right. And I didn't feel it was necessary to get in the middle of it or defend anyone.
maybe that's where you went wrong - the lurking and focusing on the bt/bob thing. it's like watching banty roosters who both want to own the farmyard.
ooh, banties are the itty-bitty little guys. So cute, and so tiny. ;)
so loud so full of of themselves.*cough*but yes, also tiny. and sometimes cute.
we went out to a mexican/irish restaurant/pub (ridiculous, i know) called Jose McIntyre'shttp://www.irishconnection.com/jose.htmlI had a steak salad with avocado, peppers, and sauteed onions. It was grrrrreat.
Jose Mcintyres!! Thats hilarious.
We have Jose O'Shea's in Denver-sounds like the kinda thing!
oh wow.. mexican and irish.
they really dont do irish food... but it's a bar/pub at night. ,the name though... you can't help but chuckle a little.
OMG, I think I just peed a little! That's a riot! I'm Mex and Irish (among other things)... Sounds like my kinda place!
Of all the places I've heard of... I've never been there. Sounds like a riot though.
the food is actually quite good for texmex/irish (but not really irish).and today, $10 Lobster Lunch special hahahaha.but seriously, i would suggest it if you gotta craving. it's downtown, sorta near fan hall area.
Perhaps I will visit after a long 10 mile walk or something.
i could totally go for sushi right now but I have cabbage salad and a wrap. that'll do.
Haha, still trying to make my way thru my cabbage salad. Think I made a little too much. =/I was actually thinking of you yesterday when I came across an article in WH on plateau's.I know you're not in a plateau (or at least I don't think you are), but one of the things they talked about was hitting a plateau when people eat the same thing all the time. I remember you talking about being a creature of habit a bit in that sense, so I thought I'd tell you. :)
True enough I'm not really in a plateau because i'm technically in maintenance, but I totally get what they are saying. I think that's why I eat a lot of the same things repeatedly, i know they work so I don't have to worry about gaining any back.
Good plan! Oh God how I crave maintenace mode!
I left the fried rice in the fridge for the bf. He needs it more than me, hehe. today is taco day (soft tacos) down in the cafe, but they offer sandwiches everyday, so I will probably do the turkey thing again. I'm not big on other people's tacos since I dunno what the heck they use in them (Mystery Meat Phobia!!!). So yeah probably turkey on wheat like yesterday or maybe even a veggie sandwich on wheat.
Movie theater food! Okay... Not really...But I'm smuggling healthy eats into the theater! =)Yes... I'm a freakin' daredevil, I tell ya!I love going to movies alone! Especially documentaries! No one with me is eating and tempting me with that popcorn I so do love and no one is there to rain on my documentary-loving parade!I'm thinking some beef jerky from the pharmacy and fresh fruit from the stand around the corner!!Then a big salad before I see The Stooges!
*Hangs head in shame...* I was thinking of going to see sisterhood of the traveling pants 2 by myself tommorow. I saw the first one when I was home sick from work a few years ago and it was pretty cute.
It was a toss up God I love corny chick flicks!Between that and this documentary? I'm seriously, SERIOUSLY questioning my taste...
saw it last night it was pretty cute.
I have a girl crush on Blake Lively.
ditto. i love that girls can say that too :)
oh good im glad im not alone!
i feel so old who is blake lively?and is that her real name?
... I dont know if that is her legal name but it is what she does by. She is a newer actress who happens to be drop dead gorgeous. If you google image her you'll see. =)
A beautiful leggy blonde... and yea I believe that is her real name.http://img2.timeinc.net/people/i/2008/stylewatch/hitormiss/080811/blake_lively.jpg
oh my me too!!! paws off.
I am a sorry excuse for a woman in that I HATE chick flicks! =/I feel so bad because my munchkin really wants to see it and I cringe everytime I think about it. I will suck it up for her, but I am not going to enjoy it damnit. *shakes head*
umm, on your side with this one Des I like chick flicks but NOT sisterhood of the travelling pants. In fact, I may even prefer being sucker punched straight shot to the ovaries to watching this movie.A very passionate $0.02
haha that's hilarious.
Hey Tigressss Create your own free ZingFu card!

Sounds yummy! I made jambalaya last night and it was goooood.
I'll find out soon. I signed younger son up for a chef camp, and the kids are cooking lunch for their families today. Should be interesting. =)BTW Des, you are crackin' me up!
really? that's so cool! does he like it? what kind of stuff do they make?
it's just a one week deal but he likes it. They've made pound cake, guacamole, bell pepper salad, Chinese food, and burgers. A lot of the prep work is done, but it is hands-on. He rolled his own spring rolls the other day. He was pretty proud of himself.
that's so cute!
aww! that sounds awesome!
I try, Bells, I try ; ) BTW, love that you put him in Chef camp! It's a shame more men can't cook! You'll have to give us a full report, k?
I'm going to try out a vegan place near my work. It's actually only a couple blocks away! This is the menu:http://www.gorawcafe.com/menu.htmlI'm not sure what I will be getting though.
Omg some of that stuff looks so good!
I think so too! I stopped in once, just to get a feel for the place. They have a little store area too. Lots of raw eating books and stuff. It excites me because it's only like 3 minutes away from work!
Big salad with romaine, shredded cabbage, radishes, broccoli, red peppers, chives, celery, tomatoes, and grilled chicken breast with creamy dill dressing. Decaf tea.Later I'll have a peach and 1/2c. lowfat cottage cheese.Sushi sounds SO good right now! I'm definitely going to have to go out for sushi sometime soon.
Don't know until I see it. It may be a salad with some chicken, or rosemary basil chicken with some veggie sides.
Leftover Madness I have some leftover southern green bean/swiss chard/bacon stuff that I'm putting in a wrap and adding kidney beans to.YUM!!

Your a liar.
Ouch! That wasn't nice... ... and how do you KNOW that they are lying?
+++ for still using real butter. =)
:-) I'm a Wisconsin girl, I can't help it. The bf (whos family I'm visiting in SEVEN DAYS! ack!) is from colorado. They don't have cheese curds in colorado. whaa...? no cheese curds? how it that even possible?
I drive to WI to get cheese! I used to live in Wi and miss the fresh cheese curds from the Ellsworth creamery! I can't imagine life with out them!
I am a CA girl... Well, really from Alaska, but have been in CA for the better part of my life. Anywho, I JUST had cheese curds for the first time while in Canada meeting my FH's family! Oh, and on that note, I'm 20 lbs heavier than I've been in years and they effin loved me. :)
what is a cheese curd?
Cheese curds are chunks of cheese usually served over french fries with gravy poured over top of the whole thing. It's called poutine and is a Quebec specialty.
Cheese curds here are served plain just curdled chunks of cheddar cheese. They still smell like the dairy usually, and they are delicious.
Sounds healthier than the French Canadian version. Hmmm I love cheese!
And sometimes their fried. Sometimes.
They're. Sorry Friday brain fry.
wonderful to hear! WB!
hi! thanks for the update and happy to hear things are improving for you (job, support, etc.).*\o/*
sounds like you are doing great! glad to have you back!
welcome back! Glad to hear things are going well both healthwise and workwise. Getting out of a bad environment can be soooo benificial for you.Any cute horse pics while you're stopping by?
Here is a new one! The new 'Work truck 'has tires a hair taller then Destiny. Yes, that's me! I destroyed my knee about a month ago, thats why there is a brace on my knee.
OMG, that thing's a monster! Real good for the environment, I'm sure. ;)Ok, I'll shut up now.
Yeah it's not my daily driver
Awesome! Glad you're doing well :) Welcome back!!
Great job! Congrats on the 30 pounds gone! That's so wonderful! And you're so close to being under 200...how exciting!
My mini goal was under 200 by Aug. 21st
Yeeeehaaaw Cowgirl! Keep up the good work!
wooooooooo, mac! i was just thinking about you the other day - a town here is trying to decide whether minis can be kept on residential lots in the city's limits.glad everything is going well, and that's just excellent about new job and roommate :) you are going to be in the oneders very soon!
hey Around here they will not allow mini to reside in town because they are classified as farm animals, exception to the rule is the ones trained for service.I haven't been in the 100's in 5+ years! i am getting so excited! My mini goal was to be in the 190's for the State Fair Horse Show (Aug 21-24) I only have 3 pounds to go in 2 weeks! I think I can beat the goal by a little bit!
BTW Cowgirl You do NOT look like you weigh in the 200's in that pic! You carry your weight well!
Glad you had fun! I haven't been yet, but I am still a "newb" to LA, hehe. Did you get your pic taken with the mouse?
no, but I did take a pic with Goofy....and I don't mean the hubby.lol. (but he's in the pic too)haha
glad it was a good time :)
